Rachel Bright

Rachel is a writer of words, drawer of pictures and champion of silver linings. She exhibits widely, writes tirelessly and frequently creates slightly unhinged characters.

Exploring the lovliness of words and the magic of pictures, she revels in a world of jam-eating miniature bears and other made-up animals.

Mainly working in hard-ground etching, hand-printed letterpress and silk screen, Rachel also splashes about with gouache, ink, food colouring and pretty much anything she can lay her hands on.

She has recently completed an MA in Printmaking, which was unimaginably great.

Rachel has also recently been signed in a two-book deal with the mighty Puffin and her first picture book, 'What does Daddy do?' published on May 7th this year.
