Starchild's paintings are the culmination of his lifelong immersion in popular street culture : Unique, bold and bristling with a restless energy, they are a combination of vibrancy with an undercurrent of dark threat, and are a true reflection of his many creative influences and how he sees life itself.
Starchild spends a lot of time collecting obscure printed material and strange cultural artefacts which are used in his work, giving each piece a unique character and value. His pieces are making waves in the contemporary art world, and you will see a lot more of him in 2009
