Tmajik

Tom is an up and coming artist and illustrator based in Bristol. He works predominantly with spray-paint and stencils, but also uses acrylics, inks and digital imagery to create pieces on canvas.

His fascination with classical and contemporary Japanese art means his work has a bold graphic quality, with flat colours and strong lines. This combined with his love of graffiti gives a colourful unique result.

All finished pieces come from an idea originally formed in his sketchbook, which he adds to daily: ‘Drawing and painting has always been the best form of escapism for me. Grey skies, recessions and Jeremy Kyle can all be wiped from your mind with a sketchbook, a pencil and a marker.’
